COLPHOS 90

COLPHOS 90

COLPHOS 90 is a high grade leaded tin (phosphor) bronze, the composition and production of which is carefully controlled to provide a fine grained, single phase wrought alloy of outstanding quality, strength and machinability. The tensile properties and corrosion resistance of COLPHOS 90 are similar to PB102 phosphor bronze and are enhanced by good fatigue strength and thermal and electrical conductivity. These properties, combined with a free machinability rating some 90% that of CZ121 free-cutting brass, make it an ideal choice for intricate machining. COLPHOS 90 provides design and materials engineers, machinists and engravers with the ability to specify and take full advantage of an outstanding, cost-effective copper alloy with a remarkable combination of properties.
