CuSn4 – UNS.C51100 Phosphor Bronze Alloys

CuSn4 - UNS.C51100 Phosphor Bronze Alloys C51100 Details & Applications: C51100 Phosphor Bronze CuSn4 - UNS.C51100 Phosphor Bronze Alloys, with a nominal composition of 95.60% copper and 4.2% tin, deoxidized with phosphorus, possesses mechanical properties and fabricating characteristics similar to Phosphor Bronze 5% - C51000 alloy but with 35% higher electrical and thermal conductivity by virtue of the lower tin content. C51100 alloy also offers a combination of high strength and ductility, excellent spring properties, good bearing qualities and wear resistance, excellent corrosion resistance and good resistance to stress relaxation. The improved electrical conductivity as compared to UNS.C51000 allows for miniaturization of electric current-carrying contacts and connectors. Typical Application for C51100 Phosphor Bronze Alloys Architecture: Bridge Bearing Plates Electrical: Terminals,Contacts, Switch Parts, Electromechanical Spring Components, Resistance Wire, Electrical Flexing Contact Blades, Electrical Connectors, Electronic Connectors, Wire Brushes, Electronic and Precision Instrument Parts, Fuse, Clips, Terminal Brackets, Kettles, Pots, Perforated sheets, Textile Machinery parts Fasteners: Lock Washers, Fasteners, Cotter Pins Industrial: Bellows, Textile Machinery, Perforated Sheets, Chemical Hardware, Truss Wire, Mechanical Springs, Sleeve Bushings, Diaphragms, Clutch Disks, Bourdon Tubes, Beater Bar, Welding Rods, Pressure Responsive Elements Available Sizes: Custom Diameter & Sizes, Random Mill lengths Available Products (forms): Round bars, Flat bars, Square bars, Round Wires, Round Strips Custom shapes are available upon request.
